Caught this copperhead in north Louisiana.

Here's another mud snake, only alive this time. Found him in the garage after I hear my wife screaming about a snake she almost stepped on.

Here is a Rat Snake I found in NE Louisiana. A large color difference between this snake, and the rat snake I found in Mississippi.

Here is a young gray rat snake that was crossing the road today. A little larger than the last one I caught on the road, but hopefully I can raise him to the 5' + range.

Another Copperhead

I thought this copperhead was neat, in the fact that very few of the 'bands' actually connected. Caught him sunning on a road. There's a significant difference in coloration between copperheads in North Lousiana, and Central Mississippi.

These are a few of the snakes we caught the other day. Didn't get pictures of all of them. 2 copperheads, 2 ribbon snakes, 1 garter snake, 1 speckled king snake, and 1 louisiana milk snake.
